Privacy Policy

• Your projects. The floor plan you sketch or edit (walls, rooms, doors, windows, furniture), its name, and when it was created and changed. We also keep up to 50 earlier versions of the plan, so you can go back to one; they are deleted with the project.
• Uploaded images. When you upload a floor plan, we store the image so it can be traced and shown behind your sketch.
• Chat messages. What you ask the design chat and its replies, saved with the project as its history. If you tell the chat who lives in the home, it keeps a line about that with the project too; you can change or remove it over the chat box.
• Your Google account ID. If you sign in with Google, our server keeps only the account's unique ID, to know which projects are yours. Your name, email address and profile picture are shown in your own browser and are not stored on our server.
• Activity records. Linked to that ID: the days you used the app, and each sign-in, floor plan trace and chat with how long it took, how much AI it used and whether it failed. We use these to keep the service working and to see how it's used.
• Credits and purchases. Linked to that ID: your credit balance and plan, and for each payment, Paddle's order and subscription numbers and the credits it gave. Card and billing details go to Paddle, never to us.
• Usage statistics. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you across sites.
• Server logs. Like any web service, our hosting records requests (such as IP address, time and page) for security and debugging. These logs expire automatically.

To save and show your projects, to trace uploaded floor plans and answer chat requests with AI, to keep the service running and secure, and to understand in aggregate which pages are used.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your projects to build advertising profiles.

Tracing an upload, chat edits and photoreal renders are handled by Google's Gemini models on Google Cloud Vertex AI. The image (for a render, a picture of your 3D view), your message and the current floor plan are sent to the model to produce a result. Renders are sent back to you and not kept on our server. Under Google Cloud's terms, this data is not used to train Google's models.

Every project lives at its own link, /p/<id>. Anyone who has the link can open and view the project, including its uploaded image and chat history. Only its owner can change it. Treat the link like a shared document link, and don't upload anything you wouldn't want seen by whoever you share it with.

A project made while signed out has no owner until someone signed in edits it, and until then anyone with the link can edit it.

We rely on these providers to run Inner Piece, each under its own privacy terms:

• Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI) stores projects and images and runs the AI. Data is stored in the me-west1 region, Tel Aviv; the Gemini model is served from Google's global endpoint.
• Google Identity Services handles sign-in.
• Paddle sells our plans as our merchant of record: it takes the payment, handles tax and keeps the billing details you give it.
• Vercel hosts the website and provides the page-view analytics.

After you sign in, your browser's local storage keeps a session token plus your name, email and picture for 30 days so you stay signed in. Nothing is set as a cookie for tracking. Signing out, or clearing site data, removes it.

Projects, uploaded images and chat history are kept until you ask us to delete them, so your links keep working. Analytics are aggregated, and server logs are deleted on our providers' standard schedules.

You can use the sketch and 3D view without an account. You can ask us for a copy of your projects, or to correct or delete them and everything tied to your account, by opening a request at our issue tracker. Include project links, not personal details; we will follow up to confirm it's you.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or California law), you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your data protection authority.

Inner Piece is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, data is encrypted at rest by Google Cloud, and sign-in tokens are checked on every request that changes a project. No system is perfectly secure, and the privacy of a project also depends on who you share its link with.
